Olive Grove~Macon Second Baptist Church
Introduces New Health Ambassador

Olive Grove MBC/Macon Second Baptist has introduced a new officer to its administrative lineup. The new office is called Health Ambassador and is helmed by Ms. Debra McKevie.

The office was established to respond to the ever-expanding health crises that plague the black and brown communities where our church families reside.  This new health initiative is part of a greater collaboration between OGMBC/MSBC and the Triad Pastors Network. The TPN is a health initiative sponsored by Wake Forest School of Medicine in cooperation with the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.

Health Ambassador Responsibilities

Ms. McKevie’s responsibilities are varied. They will include providing health and nutrition support for church membership via counseling, health information documentation and handouts. Also, thanks to a generous contribution from the Triad Pastor’s Network of a portable EKG machine, blood pressure monitoring device and computer tablet, Ms. McKevie will also provide ongoing monitoring of members health vitals, upon request.
